I confess I don’t master this art. In fact, I must further confess I don’t even know how to make pillowcases (reddening sheepishly), though I do imagine it’s quite an easy process. Ah, but fortunately for me, my lovely mother knows how to handle the sewing machine and masters the art of making pillowcases.
So she made me these much needed and much appreciated pillow cases!
(Thank you mom!)
Wish I could share with you the step-by-step process of how this was “manufactured”. Then this would become a DIY project, but seriously, I don’t know how other bloggers do it…snapping pictures all the time. 🙂 Most of the stuff I do is done in the “fast” mode, which does not allow for too many interruptions, otherwise I’d never get anything done, and although these pillowcases were done by my mom, I was busy helping out somebody else while she was working on them so I didn’t get the chance to get the camera out. Oh well.
Now what’s left to do is for me to finish up the purse I was working on, and that requires the use of the sewing machine. With a little help from my mother, I’m sure it’s a feasible thing! Can’t wait to share the pictures with you…and tell you where the material for the purse came from.
And no, I didn’t forget the series on our road trip! Coming up next- Part 3 of Road Trip through the Midwest Series!
