About the Author

My life motto is Psalm 37:4, Delight yourself in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart.

I want to honor Christ with the life He has given me, and hear Him say “well done good and faithful servant” when I come before His throne.  I hope you will find this blog edifying and that it will spur you forward in your walk with the Lord.

Otherwise I’m an undergrad student, busy with school but doing my best to keep up with various other activities (music ministry with my sisters, evangelism, prayer ministry), including household duties and running for exercise.

During my grade and high school years I’ve been in a mix of public school, charter school, and home-school, with the latter being my favorite. I personally feel homeschooling has best prepared me for real college life where you study mainly independently.

I am grateful for the heritage of grace that my parents have received from their walk with Lord and passed on to me through Biblical teaching, and which I want to pass on to others.

Brief Statement of Faith:

  1. Soli Deo Gloria – God alone is to be glorified.
  2. Solus Christus – Man is saved only through Jesus Christ.
  3. Sola Gratia – Salvation is an act of God’s free grace alone.
  4. Sola Fide – Salvation is through faith alone, not by any works of our own.
  5. Sola Scriptura – God’s infallible Word the Bible, contains all knowledge necessary for life, salvation and holiness.

Other things about me …

– I love reading and writing

– I’m a published author

– I love traveling

In Christ alone,
Rebekah

  1. I am glad you made your own blog for teenage girls and to find out more about the Lord. Psalms 37:4 is one of my favorite verses, but a verse that’s really special to me from the Bible is Phillipians 4:13 ” I can do all things through Christ who strenghtens me.” This is my favorite verse because when I feel like I’m failing or can’t reach my goal, it reminds me there is always somebody there who strengthens me.

      1. Well… I did a little History searching to aid my memory 🙂 and remembered that I’d been at http://hisprincesswarrior.blogspot.com/ and clicked most of the blog buttons on her sidebar! Not sure how I got there! I’m adding your blog button to my site!
Growing up in Oamaru, I’ve always been interested in heritage, and as a Christian, I’m of course interested in grace! Put them together, and – well – it sounds great!

P.S. I notice that my last comment was posted at 2:41am. Well, I live in New Zealand, and it wasn’t that late! 🙂

        1. Thanks for the kind comment on my blog name, I also liked the idea of a heritage and what that implies not only in our earthly life but also in our spiritual life. Should I understand from your comment that you’re a history buff 🙂 I already saw you’re a bookworm by reading your “about me” page, so usually those two go together.

          Great hearing from you,
          Rebekah
