Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I hope in Him”
The Lord is good to those who wait for Him,
To the soul who seeks Him.
It is good that one should hope and wait quietly
For the salvation of the Lord.
Therefore since Christ suffered for us in the flesh,
arm yourselves also with the same mind,
for he who has suffered in the flesh
has ceased from sin
that he no longer should live
the rest of his time in the flesh for lusts of men,
but for the will of God.
(1 Peter 4:1-2)
I sampled two passages from the Old and New Testament where I read this morning in my devotions. I hope these posts do you good- because I feel this is the most important aspect of my blogging ministry- to share from the Word.
But I’d like to ask you dear readers (and subscribers)…please don’t keep silent. I want to hear from you too. It would bring joy to my heart to get even just a short note from you saying something like: “I read the post. Here is my favorite verse (Jeremiah 29:11).”
Or anything short like that.
Finally, please participate in this poll.
I want to hear your opinions on what else I should add to these Bible Journal posts.
It is a multiple choice poll, so choose as many answers as you feel apply.
(Your votes are anonymous. Thank you for your participation).
