And off we go!

“Finally brethren, pray for us,
that the Word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified…

and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men;
for not all have faith.”
(2 Thessalonians 3:1-2)

Road travel. That’s what my family and I will be doing for this week and the next…heading toward a 4-day conference that my dad will be holding at a conservative church. Today is packing day. It’s exciting, as well as a new challenge!

I would appreciate your prayers dear friends, as we travel, that everything will work smoothly:  packing, leaving, traveling, health, no accidents- including the weather, which lately is really bad in some states (tornadoes and floods). That my sisters and I will sing well, and we will be a blessing for that church and they will be a blessing for us. And most of all that the “word of the Lord may run swiftly” as is said in the verse above. We read that verse in our morning devotions just a few days ago, and we felt it was for us,  for our travel and conference time.

I might not have time to post anything…so this could be considered a blogging break for two weeks. But who knows? I might drop by and post something anyway, if I get some internet connection on the road.

We’ll be doing our schoolwork on the way. Good thing I have online classes! That’s just one of the many advantages of online education!

Yes, you’re asking about pictures? If I can, I will try to post some pictures we took on the way, but after I come back home. 🙂

Thank you for your prayers!

“But the Lord is faithful, who will establish and guard you from the evil one.”
(2 Thessalonians 3:3)
