(You) Write My Blog Post

Check- check…one, two, three. Ahem.

Salutations dear readers! Today we’re doing something new. I’m handing over the microphone to you!

That’s right.

Instead of me writing a blog post, you will be the authors of this article. How will that work, you say?

Well, it’s quite easy, and there is room for a lot of creativity and fun! You can let your imagination run wild. All you have to do is to comment on this article, and complete the following writing prompts with whatever you want to write about yourself.

I’m really excited to see what you will come up with! So let’s see how many people want to be bloggers today. I can’t wait to hear from you!

Here’s an example: (I am… a very strict mathematics professor.) Yeah right.

I am…

I wish…

  1. I was…. shapen in iniquity and in sin did my mother conceive me. Psalm 51 v 5
    I was… blind, now I see. John 9 v 25

I am… only a sinner, saved by grace.
By the grace of God I am what I am. 1 Corinthians 5 v 10

I wish… I could tell the world about my Saviour.
I wish I didn’t wish for things, that I could be content with what I have.
Not that I speak in respect of want; for I have learned in whatsoever state I am to be content, Philippians 4 v 11
And having food and raiment, let us be therewith content. 1 Timothy 6 v 8

    I save… I can’t save, Jesus saves!
Believe on the Lord Jesus Chris and thou SHALT be saved. Acts 16 v 31

    I always… fail, but
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not is us. If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1 v 8 – 9

I believe… Jesus saves, and His blood washes whiter than snow!
Be not afraid, only believe. Mark 5 v 36
I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else. C.S. Lewis

I love… to tell the story of unseen things above,
Of Jesus and His glory, of Jesus and His love.
    I love to tell the story, because I know ’tis true;
It satisfies my longings as nothing else can do
I love to tell the story, ’twill be my theme in glory,
To tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the
propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4 v
We love Him because He first loved us. 1 John 4 v 19
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perrish but have everlasting life. John 3 v 16

I admire… when it can be seen through someones life that they walk in close communion with God, Someone who is ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you (them) for the reason of the hope that is in you (them) with meekness and fear. 1 Peter 3 v 14.
The unsaved person sees the hope in the saved person through their life and actions, and then asks that person what the reason for the hope is. It should be obvious to a stranger that we are Godly people.

I look forward to… when we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4 v 17

    1. Hi Anna,

Thanks for adding a Scriptural message you added to each prompt! I also like the last statement you made where you say you look forward to the Lord’s coming to take us all to heaven!

I hope… To encourage and inspire others, in whatever way that might be.

I know… That without the Lord life would be so difficult. I honestly don’t know how those who do not yet know the light persevere through life… it must just seem so meaningless.

I admire… My Grandmother. She has such a sweet and unselfish personality and is so lovely to be around.

I look forward to…Completing my course at University and starting full-time study, whenever that might be.

    I dream… To become more like Christ…

      This statement also encouraged me:
“I believe… That God has a purpose for us and if we let Him, He will work out everything perfectly according to His timing. I believe that His timing is perfect.”

    1. Aww Bonnie, that’s so sweet of you to say you admire my blog! It warmed my heart.
It looks like an overriding theme in the replies is that everyone loves chocolate! I do too- wish we could hold a chocolate cake party online or something, right?

Thank you also for including the prayer and thoughts about the people on the plane.

May you too have an awesome day!
