My Writing Corner

Walking in the Way of Faith

I hear the wind whistling through this place….it’s so lonely…..anyone still here?? Hello, anyone?
I know, it feels like I’ve abandoned the writing corner. Let me brush off the dust a bit.  There, that looks better.

Please excuse this little writer, but school demands have tied my hands to my back and the “pen” is left obsolete for awhile.

Yet wait! I think I might have something in my writing bag for you today….

let me rummage and see….

Why of course! I have a wonderful, inspiring story. It’s a true story. A biography. From a faraway country in Eastern Europe- Romania.

I’m sure I’ve got your eyes itching to read it by now.

It was written by a godly, faithful man named Traian Chilau. The story tells a bit of his childhood, and how the Lord redeemed his life and transformed him into a new man. It tells of his persecution under the Communists and other adventures.
This heartwarming story has made my father- my very own father, laugh…and it has made him cry too! Let me tell you, it’s very hard to get my dad that emotional over a book.

I have had the chance to meet this man in person. He is a humble and gentle man. Today he runs an orphanage in Romania, and he teaches those children many Bible verses. Those orphans know how to pray and intercede in their prayers, and recite verse after verse in the Bible. It brings tears to one’s eyes to hear of the wonderful ministry done in the lives of those children.

I hope this story will encourage and strengthen you in your walk with the Lord. Please, if you like the story, link to it here and share it with your friends. Don’t forget please.

And without further ado, here is the story:
