The stages of sanctification: past, present, and future
Our past is purified/cleaned of our past sins. In the present, we are being purified of our present sins. And in the future we will be purified of the future sins we will commit. God the Father desires for us to sin as little as possible. And this is also the natural desire of those who are His children. (1 John 1:8,9).
