“Salt is good; but if the salt has lost its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is neither fit for the land nor for the dunghill, but men throw it out. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” (Luke 14:34, 35) .

I came across this short video on youtube recently. I found it related very well to a passage that I just read in Luke Ch. 14 about the usefulness of salt. As believers we are called to be the salt and the light of the world. I really like how this artistic video demonstrates how salt has so many benefits in a variety of aspects of our lives.

….and in the same way, when we let the Word of God dwell richly in our heart, and live as the salt of the world, God will use us to bring much good in this fallen world.
