Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.
(2 Corinthians 2:14)
Do you need an encouragement for this week? A lift up? A push to keep you going?
That is the verse we read this morning in our devotions.
Know that Christ leads us in triumph! So wherever you are, whatever you are doing, whatever you need to triumph in, whatever you are working hard at, if we trust in Him with all our hearts, He will make us more than conquerors.
I love that word: TRIUMPH! It sounds so victorious, so triumphant, so… like a champion!
Isn’t it great encouragement that we have the Lord on our side? The omnipotent God who holds the whole world in His hands? Through Him we will be triumphant in what we do!
And furthermore, He will diffuse the fragrance of His knowledge in every place- through us. Whether it is at work, at school, at church, wherever. He spreads His fragrance like a beautiful perfume when we live to please Him.
May He give us all the strength to be more and more like Christ, and spread the fragrance of His knowledge!
Very inspiring verse!!! Here’s another verse that’s similar to it- Romans 8:37 “Now, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Very encouraging!
